Talk about Fa-bu-lous, this Rare 1920's BUTTERFLY DESIGN Glass BEADED Fringe found at StylishRibbons on Etsy, wowed us all.

This seller acquired this magnificent 1920's Lamp Fringe at a Fine Estate Auction a few years ago. She went crazy bidding on it; had to have it, and it has now sat in a box for almost 10 years. She decided it was time to pass it on to someone who will use it. She thinks this was designed to be a lamp fringe, but bought it with the idea in mind of making a purse with it as fringe. There is enough of it to use on a cape or dress. How about a flapper girdle around the waist? There is 59" of this magnificent fringe; the longest strand is 6". The colors are vibrant orange, royal blue, rose pink, copper, emerald green and there are large gold beads at the bottom. Beads are attached to a heavy cotton trim. Of course, a large heavy beaded piece like this that is 80 years old will have some bead loss

We really went crazy over this Retro Fabulous Ice Cream Set discovered at ReclaimTheThrone.

This vintage Ice Cream Set was reclaimed and given a new life with a fresh coat of extremely retro aqua paint. It is reminiscent of the 50's ice cream shop. This bistro set is perfect for a breakfast nook, indoor/outdoor room or screened porch (not recommended for outdoor use!). The table top and chair seats are in the original vintage condition, I didn't want to polish her up too much! The paint shows through the original black finish in some places and hopefully will chip some as time goes on for a great vintage finish!

Talk about Fa-bu-lous, this Rare 1950s Pink Royal Typewriter found at PoeticHome on Etsy, definitely caught our eye.

Every button, shift, knob, and cranny works beautifully in this antique typewriter. It has the "magic margin" for which Royal is famous, as well as an ability to switch between red/black/corrective white ink (if you have a tri-color ribbon). In addition, by pressing the button on the front of the typewriter, the top magically opens to reveal the "touch control," which allows you to adjust how hard you wish to type on the keys.
As an antique piece, the typewriter is in great condition. On the back of the typewriter, as well as one spot on each the left and right side, there is paint loss (about the size of half a dime), which come from where the latches in the case hold the typewriter.

This amazing Recycled Clock made from a vintage Fischer turntable can be found at Pixelthis. This store carries wonderful and imaginative clocks from recycled items.

This clock was created using an old recycled Fischer turntable and a Doobie Bothers album, Minute by Minute, which is replaceable. The clock movement is quartz, and requires 1 AA battery (included). The album size is 33. The entire clock measures 17"w x 14h and hangs on the wall with 2 hangars on the back. It will make a great conversation piece on your wall or a special gift for that audiophile you know who is so hard to shop for. Trying to find something for this category looked like a long and tedious task until we discovered the wonderful photography at EyeShutterToThink on Etsy. My late mom adored covered bridges so when I saw this, I knew it was the one! Talk about a serene and scenic view – just wish I had a pole to do some fishing! Entitled “Stone Mountain Covered Bridge”.

This photo was taken at beautiful Stone Mountain Georgia in October of 2007. This covered bridge was so serene & peaceful, surrounded by fall leaves & still water.

This 8oz. bar of soap smells of the ripest apples with a tiny bit of spice. Made from Olive Oil only so it is Vegan and Vegetarian friendly. The infusion is a mixture of my favorite herbs including Nettle, Calendula, Horsetail and others. Nettle is excellent for people with problem skin such as psoriasis and eczema. Calendula helps to cure dry and chapped skin and horsetail has a lot of collagen in it to keep your skin looking youthful. There is also a little oatmeal and chamomile in there for skin softening

Art Find of the Day

Trying to find something for this category looked like a long and tedious task until we discovered studio7jayceganchou’s Forfeit sculpture. Now this is what we call ART!

Forfeit is an abstract sculpture (table top display size) made of Cedar, Oregon Green Soapstone and Copper. It's dimensions are 25"x7"x7". The main body of cedar was shaped then cut into sections to be laminated to the soapstone inserts. The fins on top are aged copper fixed with copper rods and copper rivets. The main body is posted on a copper tube and a tapered cedar base. The cedar woods have golden amber stain on top and dark stain on the base. The entire sculpture is finished with a glossy clear coat.

For those of you who like the vintage 50s flair, these Stacking Storage Canisters offered by Violin1 is just the thing.

You can use this great set of stacking canisters for anything you think of. Perhaps they were made for sugar and flour, or rice and dry beans...or perhaps not. There are no labels and no markings. Made of light weight aluminum, there are a few minor dings, some surface wear, but nothing major to detract from the clean simple lines and shiny punch you get from displaying this.
